The Social Festival 2017 is an 18+ event and we will be operating a ‘Challenge 25’ policy, so if you’re lucky enough to look under the age of 25, we will be asking for your ID. Valid Passports, Provisional/Drivers Licenses and Citizen Cards are the only forms of identification that will be accepted. If you do not have valid ID, you will not be allowed entry into the event.
Download our exclusive Social Festival app, which includes set times, artist bios, organizer posts, tickets and all other relevant event information. Search ‘Summer Social’ on the Google Play Store/App Store.
All persons entering the festival site may be searched as a condition of entry. Strictly NO illegal substances or psychoactive substances will be permitted into the site. Possession of either may lead to your ejection from the festival or arrest.
Weekend Non-Camping Ticket Holders
You are not permitted to camp or stay on site. Your ticket will be exchanged for a weekend non-camping wristband upon entry. Please ensure you keep your ticket safe before exchanging, and do not remove or tamper with your weekend wristband, as there will be no admittance for those suspected of this. There is no re-admittance to the arena after the event so please ensure you have all your belongings with you.
If you have a disability and you require a carer’s pass. Please email us at email@example.com with a copy of your DLA letter and ticket purchase confirmation and we will send you a free carer pass.
If you have any questions about the access and facilities at the festival, please email our dedicated team at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Exiting by Car
Please be patient when exiting, stewards will assist you. Please look after yourself and others and ensure you are fit to drive before you leave the festival.
Food and Drink
There is a large selection of food stalls offering a variety of dishes from all over the world. There are bars serving alcohol during licensed hours to over 18’s only. We operate a ‘Challenge 25’ policy so please don’t be offended if you are asked for ID.
There are toilets located throughout the festival site. We don’t want you to queue jump but don’t be afraid to ask people to check the toilet doors. Please keep the toilets clean, they are cleaned and emptied throughout the weekend but we need your help too.
No camping stoves or other cooking equipment is permitted on site.
If you feel unwell, alert security or a steward or visit the first aid tent. Mark your tent to make it easily identifiable to you, make a mental note of your surroundings. Look out for each other – you’re all neighbours (albeit for a weekend). If you see anybody acting suspiciously or somebody is making you feel uncomfortable alert a member of the security or festival team. No glass is permitted on site, so please bring cans or plastic bottles for your drinks.
Drink water in between alcohol and stay hydrated, we want you to remember your Social Festival. Drinking alcohol on hot days will make you more dehydrated, so this is essential when the suns out.
The law has changed, there is no such thing as a ‘legal high’, this includes Nitrous Oxide. NO illegal/unidentifiable/psychoactive substances or nitrous oxide is permitted into the site. Possession of any may lead to your ejection from the festival and arrest. Want to know more? Talktofrank.com or call 0300 123 6600. These substances like illegal drugs are banned from the festival so please don’t bring them.
You may be searched by security or the Police as a condition of entry to the festival site. Please use common sense when deciding what to bring. Anything illegal, prohibited from the festival or considered offensive will be confiscated and you may be asked to leave the festival site.
If you refuse a random search you will be required to undergo a private search.
Look after yourself and those around you. If you feel unwell you can visit one of the first aid points which are signposted in the arena and the campsites.
There are areas inside the festival site which are designated no smoking areas, the indoor arenas being key amongst these. Please adhere to the signage in these areas or you may risk a fine from the local authority.
KEEP IT SAFE
Full emergency services are present at the festival. Please make a note of the displayed on-site emergency telephone numbers and use them in the event of an emergency.
